Politics
I study collective action in ethnically divided societies: My dissertation explores under which conditions do post-ethnic protest movements select their repertoires of contention in divided societies, by conducting a comparative analysis between Lebanon’s 2019 October Uprising and Bosnia and Herzegovina's 2014 Bosnian Spring. More broadly, my research interests include identity politics, post-conflict power-sharing agreements, and everyday sectarianism. My academic background is complemented by degrees in translation and interpretation.
