Yong He

I am He Yong, a PhD student in Politics at the University of Exeter. My research explores the impact of Chinese aid on post-conflict authoritarian statebuilding in African countries. I am particularly interested in historical sociological theory, spatial theory, and their implications for post-conflict governance. My work employs a mixed-methods approach, combining comparative case studies, process tracing, and spatial econometrics, including GIS mapping, to investigate this topic.
