Research
Philosophy of Biology; Open Science; Feminist Philosophy
I have worked on topics in philosophy of biology, including ecological niches and niche construction theory, individuality in behavioural ecology, individualised measurement and experimental practices, and animal tracking technology. I have also done some work in feminist philosophy, including on feminist ontology and the philosophy of sex and gender. At Exeter I will be looking into epistemic diversity and open science.
Biography
I grew up in Brisbane, Australia, where I studied biology and philosophy at the University of Queensland. After a research master's in philosophy at Radboud University in the Netherlands, I did a PhD in philosophy at Bielefeld University in Germany, where I also worked as a researcher.
